What This Plan Is Based On

Some of these priorities come directly from what Anaheim residents shared through the 2024 Community Foundation Needs Assessment. Others are Elia’s proposals based on her experience serving families, seniors, young people, and community partners, along with programs and resources Anaheim already has.

The Needs Assessment helps show where residents are experiencing gaps. Elia’s plan focuses on the next question: What can City Hall actually do about it?

That is why each priority is organized around three simple questions:

• What is the problem?

• What action can we take?

• What result should residents expect?

Not every action on this page is a recommendation from the Needs Assessment.
Some are Elia’s own ideas for turning what we already know into practical action and measurable results.
